Peter Borszcz is a lawyer and shareholder of Pihl Law Corporation focused on business law, corporations, commercial transactions, commercial real estate, residential real estate, estate planning for small business, and trusts.
As a Kelowna Real Estate Lawyer, Peter has a wide variety of real estate clients. From first time home buyers to large commercial landlords and property developers, he has assisted thousands of local homeowners and Realtors buy and sell residential real estate.
Peter’s practice as a Kelowna Business Lawyer focuses primarily on local owner managed business including incorporated medical professionals and franchisors.
Peter obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta. During law school, Peter was awarded both Dean’s List standing and the Louise McKinney scholarship for placement in the top 2% of his law school class. Peter is proud to have been a member and executive of the Alberta Law Review during his time in Edmonton. After law school, Peter articled with Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and joined the firm as an associate in their commercial real estate group. Peter returned to Kelowna in 2006 and joined Pihl Law Corporation as a Partner/Shareholder in 2009.
Peter is the author of numerous periodical legal articles which are published on a regular basis for the benefit of both clients as well as the Okanagan business community. Peter teaches extensively for the BC Real Estate Association and is one of the “LEGAL UPDATE” instructors providing continuing education to Realtors and Strata Managers.
Peter Borszcz was born and raised in Kelowna. His grandfather was an orchardist and his family has been settled in the area since 1951. Outside the office he spends his time with his children, in their backyard orchard or together on the ski hill.
