ASSOCIATE
Danielle Tataryn is an associate practicing primarily in family law.
Danielle was born and raised in Kelowna. Danielle attended the University of British Columbia (Okanagan), where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in the Honours program with a major in history.
Danielle then completed her Juris Doctor at UBC’s Allard School of Law. While in law school, Danielle volunteered in multiple projects with Pro Bono Students Canada. During her second year, Danielle was selected to join the UBC Innocence Project clinic, which helps seek exoneration for the wrongfully accused. Through this experience, Danielle discovered a passion for learning people’s stories and making them feel heard as they navigate the legal process.
Danielle articled at a leading injury firm in Vancouver, which included work on historical sex assault files. During her articles, Danielle not only gained experience in the litigation process generally, but in supporting clients as they work through difficult subject matter.
After completing her articles, Danielle made the move back to Kelowna and into the field of family law at a boutique litigation firm. Danielle then joined Pihl Law Corporation in the fall of 2024.
Outside of the office, Danielle enjoys hiking, camping, running, interior design, reading, and snuggling up with Hendrix, her Whoodle.
